Helena Wierzbicki is an Argentine contemporary painter whose work explores the human figure through expressive color, movement and abstraction. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, she combines contemporary figurative painting with elements of abstract expressionism, creating works in which the body, emotion and color become closely intertwined.

Her paintings often focus on the human figure, portraits and the nude, approached not as literal representations but as a way of exploring intimacy, sensuality, emotion and the complexity of human experience. She uses broad, visible brushstrokes, layered transparencies and shifting edges to allow the figure to emerge and dissolve within the surrounding color.

Color is central to her visual language. Turquoise, cyan, magenta, blue, violet, ochre and other saturated tones are used to create atmosphere, rhythm and emotional tension, while maintaining a strong sense of spontaneity and movement.

Helena has been exhibiting and selling her artwork internationally since 2010, with collectors from different countries acquiring her original paintings. Her work is intended to create an immediate visual and emotional connection, while leaving space for each viewer to find their own interpretation.
